Life at Downton Abbey

Meals at Downton Abbey are always an event.  Although not as fancy as Downton Abbey, during Chef’s upbringing with her Very British Grandparents, Meals were a focal event for the family.  Dressing for dinner was always expected.  Outings with Chef’s Father and Grandfather to go Fishing for Salmon in the Rivers were accompanied by Picnic Lunches filled with Sausage Rolls, Sandwiches and MeatPies her Grandmother made for them.
