We're searching for a Head Cook to join our team and help us deliver fresh, seasonal, and memorable meals for weddings, celebrations, and special events across the Pacific Northwest.
We’re seeking someone who is hardworking, detail-oriented, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced catering environment. This role is ideal for someone who is finishing culinary school and will be ready to step into the position by May 2026.
What You’ll Do- Take charge of the stovetop and oversee event food preparation.
- Ensure all event food is prepped, cooked, and ready on time.
- Write prep lists and execute recipes created by Chef Anna.
- Cook for a variety of event sizes, from intimate dinners of 20 guests to 200+ guests, often with multiple events in a single day.
- Occasionally travel onsite to different venues for Chef on Site experiences (paella stations, risotto stations, carving stations, and more).
What We’re Looking For- Culinary school graduate (or equivalent experience), ready to begin by May 2026.
- Comfortable working weekends—especially in the summer months when our season is at its peak.
- Ability to work long, fast-paced kitchen shifts during the busy season.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage prep lists, timing, and event execution.
- Flexibility to step into both kitchen and onsite event settings.
What to Expect- Hours are not guaranteed—catering is a seasonal business, and while there may be work year-round, the majority of hours will be June through September. During peak season, you may work upwards of 40 hours per week, but hours will vary.
- Pay starts at $23/hour and will be evaluated based on experience.
