Chef Anna Gordon, Owner and Executive Chef of Crescent Moon Catering, has dedicated over 20 years to mastering the art of cooking. Her journey began with a passion for food and hospitality, which led her to spend a decade in Los Angeles training under some of the industry’s most renowned chefs and restaurateurs—many of whom are now recognized on national television. This experience not only refined her technical skills but also exposed her to a world of diverse culinary influences, allowing her to craft a distinctive style that blends comfort food with classic French techniques.
Chef Anna’s culinary expertise extends far beyond the kitchen—she has traveled and trained all over the world, continuously seeking new inspiration. She earned a cooking certificate in Thailand, where she immersed herself in the rich flavors and traditions of Thai cuisine. Her global experiences have shaped her approach to menu creation, often fusing traditional flavors with fresh Pacific Northwest influences. Among the many destinations that have sparked her creativity, Ireland and Mexico stand out as two of the most inspiring. The hearty, rustic dishes of Ireland and the bold, vibrant flavors of Mexico have influenced her ability to craft menus that tell a story, combining authenticity with a unique, personalized touch.

Ryanne has been an integral part of the Crescent Moon Catering team for nearly five years, officially celebrating her milestone in April 2025. When she first joined, she had little professional cooking experience—aside from a couple of culinary classes in high school and her own home cooking. Starting as what she fondly calls “the runt” of the kitchen, she worked her way up through hard work, dedication, and a passion for learning. Under Chef Anna’s guidance, she has developed her skills and grown into her current role as Kitchen Manager, where she helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Outside of the kitchen, Ryanne loves experimenting with new recipes at home, spending time with her cats, and going out with friends. Her journey at Crescent Moon is a testament to her determination and love for great food!
Bianca joined the Crescent Moon Catering team in September 2023, shortly after moving to Washington. With a strong background in the hospitality industry, she brings a wealth of experience to her role. Starting her career in restaurants during high school, she has worn many hats over the years—bartender, host, server, and even Event Coordinator in the wedding industry. Her diverse skill set and passion for exceptional service make her a key part of the team, ensuring every event runs seamlessly.
When she’s not managing projects or leading service at events, Bianca enjoys taking her cat, Tex, on outdoor walks, gathering around bonfires with friends, and trying out new exercise classes.
Rachel’s journey with Crescent Moon Catering began in 2017 when she joined the team as a high school student in her first job. She continued working summers as a lead server while pursuing her education at Gonzaga University, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and HR, followed by an MBA in Project Management.
After college, Rachel worked as a Technical Recruiter for nearly two years before finding her way back to the wedding industry—a place that has always felt like home. In addition to her role at Crescent Moon, she is the owner of Area Code Marketing, where she helps businesses build their brands (and even created this website!).
Outside of work, Rachel is passionate about traveling, reading romance books, trying out new recipes with her sourdough starter, and cheering on Gonzaga basketball with her husband.
